Industrial Filters And Cabinets

HEPA filter  and ULPA filters play a vital role, wherever absolute filtration level is mandatory such as research industries, toxicology centre, pharma, food processing industries, operation theatre, clean room / green room and so on.

• Sizes (conventional) : 6, 12, 16, 18 & 24" depth in any dimension, but for minipleat 55 - 150mm  depth of any dimension. With single or double collar or box type.

a) Primary / Pre filter

Normally it is considered as 10-20 microns and above G 3 TO F 6 grade. Washable / re-usable as well as disposable types are available in various sizes depend upon air flow and dust holding capacity. The filter medium selected depends upon the site condition, temperature, RH level and other parameters.

 

b) Secondary / Fine filter

Normally it is considered as 5 microns to 2 micron. Washable & re-usable types are available in various grades (70% to 99. 9% synthetic arrestance efficiency – F 7 TO F 9 - Up to MERV 11). The filter medium selected depends upon the site condition, air flow rate, temperature & RH level. Also MERV 12 TO 20 can be manufactured by us depend upon the application and site condition. 

 

c) Super fine / turbo flow filter

 

Super flow filters are extensively used for the sake of high retention (dust holding capacity applications). Rating - 5 micron to 1 micron are available in various dimensions. The arrestance efficiency 99% (merv 12 TO 14). It will withstand up to 200 deg c continuous operation - dust can be retained up to 3 kgs/sq. ft of area.

d) Bag type filters

 

The filter medium will be of non woven polypropylene / polyester / nomax / woven cotton / nylon / melt blown. Number of pockets & dimensions depend upon dust holding capacity, retention / filtration efficiency and temperature. The size of all the above depend upon velocity, flow rate, site condition & application. Thickness of the header 1/2 TO 2” in various dimensions, but pocket / bags are made up to 45” depth, with or without cage.

Class II biological safety cabinet- Biocontainment workstation is a ventilated unit with inward air flow for personnel protection, downward HEPA filtered laminar air flow for product protection and HEPA filtered exhaust air for environmental protection.

Class III biological safety cabinet- Biocontainment workstation is a totally enclosed ventilated unit of gastight construction with a negative pressure. It supplies air drawn into the cabinet through hepa filters. All functions are performed through glove ports. The exhaust air is treated by double hepa filtration or by hepa filtration and incinerations.

MOC: crca powder coated, stainless steel. Available in sizes and type as per client's requirement.

Filteration ventilation units and filtration exhaust air units are designed on modular type of single skin panels with aluminium extruded skeleton, rigidly constructed to withstand high air flow / velocity and high dust holding. Even additional support and reinforcement are provided wherever necessary. The panels are made out of pvc coated / frp coated g. I sheet or ss / aluminium, as required by the customer.

It plays a vital role in the process & chemical industries, research centres, toxicology centre, hospital, sewage exhaust gas. Activated carbon and chemical filter can remove odour, chemical / toxic gas and smoke and fumes up to 99. 9%. Cassette type and cylindrical type filters are available. Dimension of the filters will vary depend upon application and quantum of air to be handled.

Carbon filter is a passive product. It does not work unless air passes through. Therefore suitable fan / blower with electrical motor to be provided in a housing / shell. The sizing of the module depend upon the air volume to be handled. Proper pre filters are selected along with the carbon and chemical filters to meet the site condition and customer’s requirement. Otherwise carbon and chemical medium will get saturate in short period.

 

 

The design of the terminal hood for HEPA filter in the clean room is most salient to benefit the filtration level as well as to maintain laminar velocity. Wherever higher grade of filtration is required with FFU the performance up to ISO 3 to ISO 5 class canbe assured,  in which hepa / ULPA filter can be perfectly placed. Air entry can be from the top or from the side can be designed.

 

Advantage of our FFU : HEPA filter alone can be replaced without disturbing te blower and motor.  Also terminal hood's are available in which HEPA filter can be installed of 2 / 3 / 4 / 6 feet length.

Acoustic filter means sound absorption component, positioned to reduce the level of noise, propagating down a duct or radiating from the end of the duct or discharge / exhaust side of the fan / blower. Our product range includes acoustic filter and industrial silencer and enclosure. Sound control is not merely a matter of mechanical character; it is a complete engineering feat itself.

 

• By using the acoustic filters down (with panel type acoustic filters) sound levels can be reduced to 10 to 14 dba.
• Industrial silencers are used for huge / large type of fan / blower, so that 25 TO 30 db can be controlled. 
• Acoustic enclosures are exensively used to reduce the sound, which generated from the machine /  equipment, genrator set and so on. 

 

MOC of all the above : MS / SS also G.I and aluminium, depend upon application and site condition.  The filter medium will be fibre glass / mineral wools, fibre glass membrane, synthetic tissues and membrane with perforated guard.
